Cynthia Gómez and Bobbi Stedman Join ALF Oregon Board
ALF Oregon is excited to welcome and celebrate two phenomenal leaders joining the ALF Oregon Board this month: Cynthia Carmina Gómez (Class 40) and Bobbi Stedman (Class 40.) We are thrilled that they are working with us in this capacity and excited for the wisdom, lived experience, and expertise they bring to our board!
Cynthia Carmina Gómez (she/her/ella) is Portland State University’s Director of Community and Civic Impact, where she brings ideas and knowledge into practice through community-centered initiatives. She serves on the university’s Climate Justice Committee and Hispanic Serving Institution initiatives. She oversees Latiné Futures, a community collaboration aimed at co-creating a bold vision for our community’s future. An Oregon Governors' Gold Civic Leadership awardee, she has 22 years of experience as a faculty and higher education administrator and worked ten years at Latino Network coordinating leadership programs. Cynthia is a futurist, cultural strategist, and creative writer with an MFA in nonfiction writing and a Master's in Education.
Bobbi Stedman (she/her) is an accomplished C-Level Executive who leverages her experience, leadership, high standards, and critical thinking skills positioning her as the go-to executive for thoughtful, pragmatic solutions that drive accountability. Employed by three global brands, Bobbi has become an asset in understanding how to operate within various cultures and regulatory environments. Bobbi has overseen corporate communications, contracts and administration, health and safety, human resources, information technology, performance and analytics, process excellence, and public affairs. Bobbi received her B.S. and MBA degrees from Marylhurst University and a Woman on Boards Certificate from Wharton University. She also has certifications from PROSCI as a change management facilitator and Hogan Assessment as an assessment interpreter.
