New Board Board Officers for the 2025 Fiscal Year
After a vote during the June board meeting, the ALF Oregon Board is pleased to announce a new slate of officers for the 2025 fiscal year.
Bobbi Stedman (Class 40) is a C-Level Executive who recently transitioned from the Port of Portland to establish HighThrive Consulting. Bobbi steps in as ALF Oregon's new Board Chair behind Berk Nelson (Class 34), who served for the past three years in the role. Bobbi also serves on ALF's Anti-Racism/Anti-Oppression Work Group.
Sama Shagaga (Class 42) is the Partnerships and Government Affairs Consultant for NW Natural. He steps in as our Vice Chair behind Aurora (AJ) Jackson (Class 33), who served for the past 18 months in the role. Sama also serves on ALF's Resource & Engagement Work Group.
Patrick Quinton (Class 30) is the Economic Development Director for the city of Vancoucer and the former ED of Prosper Portland. Patrick continues in his role from past years as Treasurer. Patrick chairs ALF Oregon's Finance Committee alongside AJ Jackson.
Jessie Eagan (Class 37) is a Child & Family Behavioral Health Manager with the Oregon Health Authority. She steps in as Secretary behind Vicki Nakashima (Class 13), who served in the role for three years. Jessie also serves on ALF's Governance Committee.
Welcome Bobbi, Sama, Patrick, and Jessie. Thank you for your time, expertise, and care as we launch the new fiscal year at ALF Oregon!

A Special Thank You to Stephanie Hooper!
Stephanie Hooper (Class 31) just completed her final term with the ALF Oregon Board. We would like to share our immense gratitude to Stephanie for her many years of stellar board service. As past Board Chair, Stephanie saw us through phenomenal change and organizational shift. She led with deep care and strategic action through several leadership transitions and helped guide us through the pandemic as well. We are forever grateful for her thoughtful partnership and collaboration. ALF Oregon is better because of Stephanie's service and dedication. Thank you, Stephanie!
