New ALF Oregon Directory Launches Feb. 22

A NEW DIRECTORY

After years of planning and fundraising, ALF Oregon’s Senior Fellow Directory is getting a major upgrade. The new American Leadership Forum community portal and smartphone app, ALF Connect, is designed to revolutionize the way we connect with one another. ALF Connect will enable Senior Fellows to find each other with ease and to search by community, sector, and class number. The new directory will facilitate cross-class collaborations for the Senior Fellow Network and deepen cross-generation and cross-sector connections. 

And for the first time ever, you will be connected to Senior Fellows from across all eight ALF chapters. Find Senior Fellows with common interests, join or start an affinity group, and engage in online discussion forums. This modern, developer-supported platform will enable our vibrant community to connect in new and powerful ways.

ALF NATIONAL PARTNERSHIP

ALF Oregon is working in partnership with ALF National to bring this new directory to fruition. All Senior Fellows with current email addresses can look forward to receiving our activation email from ALF National. We will provide updates as we count down to the launch date. You will receive a special invitation to join on February 22 so keep an eye out for it!

NEW SUPPORT STAFF

Amari Fauna has joined the ALF Oregon team as a Project Coordinator to support our data migration and onboarding process. She is also here to support Senior Fellows as they log on, populate their profiles, and navigate the new directory. Welcome to the team, Amari!

Amari Fauna (she/her) comes to ALFO with a background in community health, assisted living, higher education administration, and most recently as Director of Accreditation at a national accreditation agency. Amari is currently the co-owner and operator of a small horse-powered farm in Eastern Oregon where she is working to improve rural food access and insecurity. You can ask Amari about updating your contact information, activating your ALF Connect account, and building out your ALF Connect profile.
